Return Policy
This Returns & Refunds Policy governs all purchases made through Meracchi London and is aligned with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK consumer protection laws. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set forth herein.
1. Scope & Applicability
This policy applies exclusively to orders placed through www.meracchi.co.uk. It governs returns, exchanges, and refunds in relation to both standard and discounted merchandise, subject to the specific terms detailed below.
2. General Return Conditions
Customers may initiate a return request within 14 days of delivery, provided the following criteria are strictly met:

Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and returned in their original packaging with all original tags attached.

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer in all cases.

Prior authorisation must be obtained before any item is sent back.

A Return Authorisation Number (RAN) must be requested via email and clearly marked on the parcel.

The customer is advised to use a tracked and insured shipping method. Meracchi London accepts no liability for lost or delayed returns.
Returns that do not meet these criteria may be rejected or subject to a discretionary handling fee.
3. Faulty or Damaged Goods
In the event of an item being received in a condition that may be considered faulty, customers must notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery and submit clear photographic evidence of the issue via email prior to any return authorisation being considered.
We reserve the right to assess and verify reported faults remotely before determining the appropriate resolution, which may include a partial refund, store credit, or return-based resolution at our discretion.
Please note: return costs for faulty items are not reimbursed unless explicitly agreed to in writing. Meracchi London will not dispatch pre-paid return labels by default.
4. Sale & Promotional Items
All items purchased during promotions or marked as sale are considered final sale and non-returnable under the change-of-mind provision.
Refunds or exchanges for sale items are only considered in exceptional cases involving substantial manufacturing defects, subject to strict photographic evidence and pre-authorisation as outlined in Section 3.
5. Return Shipping & Processing
Return shipments must be addressed to our international warehouse (outside the UK). The full return shipping address is disclosed only upon approval of the return request and issuance of a Return Authorisation Number.
Customers are advised that:

International returns may incur customs fees, which are the sole responsibility of the sender.

Return transit times can vary significantly and are outside of our control.

Refunds are only processed once the item has been received, inspected, and approved.

No liability is accepted for parcels returned without a valid RAN or without proof of postage.
6. Refund Method & Timelines
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 working days of return approval. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless explicitly stated.
In certain cases, discretionary goodwill resolutions (including partial refunds) may be offered to avoid unnecessary delays or shipping costs, at the sole discretion of Meracchi London.
7. Exceptions
The following items are non-returnable under any circumstance, unless legally deemed faulty:

Custom-made or personalised goods;

Intimate or hygiene-sensitive items;

Gift vouchers or digital items.
